Privacy Policy

Effective 08/28/2026 Last updated 08/28/2026

This policy explains what Odosia collects, why, who else can see it, how long we keep it, and how you can get it deleted. Odosia is operated by FrenzyApp LLC, and covers the Odosia iOS app and odosia.app. Questions: support@odosia.app.

Short version. We collect the account details you give us, the recommendations and lists you save, who you connect with, and basic technical data needed to run the app and fix crashes. We don’t sell your personal data. You can delete your account, and everything in it, from inside the app.

1. What we collect and how

Information you give us directly

Information collected automatically

Only with your permission

You can turn any of these off at any time in iOS Settings. [LIST WHICH FEATURES STOP WORKING WITHOUT EACH PERMISSION]

2. Why we use it

We do not use your content to serve you advertising, and we do not sell your personal data. [CONFIRM — AND IF YOU EVER ADD ADS OR SELL DATA, THIS SECTION AND YOUR APP STORE PRIVACY LABELS MUST BOTH CHANGE]

3. Legal bases (EEA and UK users)

We process your data to perform our contract with you (running the app), on the basis of your consent (photos, location, contacts, push notifications, and optional analytics), and for our legitimate interests in keeping the service secure and working well. Where we rely on consent you can withdraw it at any time.

4. Who can see your content

Inside Odosia, visibility follows the setting on each list:

Your display name and profile photo are visible to people you are connected with, and to people who receive a list you shared.

5. Service providers we share data with

We use a small number of companies to run Odosia. Each is contracted to process your data only on our instructions and only to provide their service to us [ONLY ACCURATE ONCE YOU HAVE A DATA PROCESSING AGREEMENT IN PLACE WITH EACH ONE]:

ProviderPurposeData involved
Google, IncStoring your account and contentEverything you save

Every third party with whom we share user data — including analytics providers, software development kits, and any parent, subsidiary or related company that has access to user data — is required to provide the same or equal protection of user data as stated in this policy.

We may also disclose data if the law requires it, to protect someone’s safety, or as part of a merger or acquisition — in which case we will tell you before your data becomes subject to a different policy.

6. Keeping and deleting your data

We keep your account and content for as long as your account exists. Diagnostic and usage data is kept for [X MONTHS] and then deleted or aggregated.

Deleting your account

You can delete your Odosia account, and everything in it, from inside the app: Profile → Settings → Delete account. [CONFIRM THE EXACT PATH — APPLE REQUIRES ACCOUNT DELETION TO BE INITIATED IN THE APP, NOT ONLY BY EMAIL]

Deletion removes your profile, your saved recommendations, lists, routes and connections from our live systems [IMMEDIATELY / WITHIN X DAYS] and from backups within [30] days. [CONFIRM BOTH WINDOWS WITH YOUR DEVELOPER] Content you shared directly into another person’s list [STATE WHAT HAPPENS TO IT]. You can also email support@odosia.app and we will delete your account for you.

To withdraw a permission without deleting your account, turn it off in iOS Settings → Odosia. [IF YOU SEND MARKETING EMAIL, SAY SO IN SECTION 2 AND KEEP THIS LINE: to stop marketing emails, use the unsubscribe link in any of them. IF YOU ONLY SEND TRANSACTIONAL EMAIL, DELETE THIS SENTENCE.]

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, receive a copy in a portable format, object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent. California residents additionally have the right to know what is collected and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information — we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA and CPRA [CONFIRM — “SHARING” HAS A NARROW TECHNICAL MEANING THAT SOME ANALYTICS AND ADVERTISING SDKS CAN TRIGGER]. We will never treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.

To exercise any of them, email support@odosia.app. We respond within [30] days. If you are in the EEA or UK you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

8. Children

Odosia is not intended for children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA and UK), and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has given us information, email support@odosia.app and we will delete the account. [MATCH THIS TO YOUR APP STORE AGE RATING]

9. Security

Data is encrypted in transit with TLS. [CONFIRM WHETHER DATA IS ALSO ENCRYPTED AT REST, AND DESCRIBE YOUR ACCESS CONTROLS — DO NOT CLAIM A SAFEGUARD YOU HAVE NOT PUT IN PLACE] No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security — if a breach affects your data, we will notify you and the relevant regulators as the law requires.

10. International transfers

Odosia is operated from [COUNTRY] and your data may be stored and processed there and in other countries where our providers operate. Where data leaves the EEA or UK, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or another approved transfer mechanism. [THESE HAVE TO BE ACTUALLY EXECUTED WITH EACH PROVIDER]

11. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top, and for anything material we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect.
